I feel as if I’ve been neglecting this blog as a “writing” blog and have used it to more of my advantage as an image blog. To my little baby Tumblr, I’m sorry.

Spring semester is going well for me, keep in mind that I’m only taking two classes and I have plenty of room for spacing out my homework and all that. I really have to ace my business law class since I’m repeating it another time, I don’t want to mess this up since this is my last class to take to finish my AA degree in Business. I’m glad that I can say I’m getting a degree, it’s not going to be my only degree since I’ll be aiming for my Bachelor’s in Communication once I get out of community college. I’m almost 24 and I feel as if I’m behind compared to some of my fellow classmates from high school, but I’m glad I’m at least IN school and working hard towards my goals.

If you didn’t already know, I work front desk at a tucked away salon and spa in San Leandro. I’m definitely loving learning about all the beauty inside secrets, and I definitely love getting services done. :) It’s a lot of hard work since I have so many hours, but this is what a job is. If I’m not at school, I’m at work. And sometimes I bring my schoolwork TO work so I can get things done. 

It’s been hard keeping in touch with friends and getting to see everyone as often as I’d like. That’s what growing up does I guess. I have my priorities straight and I’m definitely goal oriented, but I definitely still know how to let loose and have fun with my friends. I’m so glad that I have friendships still in tact where even though I haven’t seen them in such a long time, it still feels like just yesterday we were hanging out.

I’m going to Vegas in April for Spring Break and I’m definitely excited. With a new job brings better pay which allows me to be responsible for my own finances and I’m more able to spend my money on better things rather than small, useless things. I’m so proud of myself for making this vacation my first vacation I’ve been responsible for. I didn’t need any financial help from the parentals, I booked everything on my own. This may seem like nothing to some of you, but I’m just so glad that I have the ability to take care of myself without anyone’s help.

I’ve been working out lately and have been making sure to stay in some kind of regular schedule. It may only be for a little over an hour each time, but every second counts right? I’m trying to live a better lifestyle and take care of my body since I should be at my prime. And let me just say, the darn waist slimming belt I found at Ross for $5 is heaven sent. It may only be getting rid of my water weight, but I seriously feel like it’s working in some sort of way. It may even be a placebo affect to keep me going to the gym. Whatever it is, it’s working.

I’m sorry that this blog is pretty much all over the place, but I felt like this blog needed some written love. Take care! xo
